The Long Island BMW Rider’s Club is a not-for-profit incorporated club, established in 1996, and founded by BMW Motorcycle Owners on Sept. 9th, 1997. It was organized for motorcycle enthusiasts in the Long Island, New York metropolitan area.

We are a charter club of the BMW Motorcycle Owners of America (MOA) charter #268 and a charter club of the BMW Riders Association International (RA), charter #282.

The club’s members have joined together to pursue and protect the interests of all motorcyclists (regardless of make), to benefit each other through shared knowledge and expertise to heighten the understanding of motorcycling in the community.

The club meets bi-weekly on Sunday mornings for breakfast sessions at local diners and all are welcome to join.  See the events calendar for meeting times and places.

LIBMWRC Welcomes men and women riders regardless the brand of motorcycle owned and ridden. The club promotes safety and responsible operation of all motorcycles and adherence to motor vehicle rules and regulations.
